In 1998, Andrew Farrer and David Farrer joined forces to form DRASOL.
From there, we have grown to service the solar, civil, rail and waste water treatment industries in Australia.
A family business, wholly South Australian owned and operated, made up of real people with the technical skills, expertise and equipment to get the job done.

Our Directors
In 1998 two brothers, Andrew and David Farrer formed a partnership and named it Drainage Solutions. With a backhoe and a truck, they began their journey, developing the technical skills and equipment for success. 2008 saw the name change to DRASOL and the targeting of a wider range of activities. Today, we are proud to be a wholly South Australian owned and operated family business supporting the people, customers and communities we work in.
Andrew Farrer
With a career spanning more than 25 years in the solar, civil, rail and waste water treatment industries, Andrew has demonstrated a dedication to his profession and commitment to all DRASOL clients. Andrew’s detail-oriented approach and extensive project management skills ensure contractual requirements are successfully completed on time and within budget. An enthusiastic and lateral thinking approach are key to the success of projects under his guidance.
David Farrer
A personal approach allowing David to develop client and project relationships have been the foundation to David’s 25 plus years in the solar, civil, rail and waste water treatment industries. Results-oriented, David’s strong leadership, extensive experience and direct involvement with projects ensures stakeholder requirements are fully met. A belief that dedication and commitment to all DRASOL clients, staff and communities is essential for success, his mantra is for every problem there is a solution.

Throughout the five years of the Adelaide Metropolitan Rail Upgrade Project, DRASOL was the subcontractor for civil (earthworks and signalling) and drainage. As a result of working with a range of Tier 1 Contractors on major projects, DRASOL has created business systems, honed the skills of our human resources and invested in plant and equipment to better offer the services that are required.
With clients ranging from local and state government departments throughout Australia to local and national organisations, we have been exposed to the full range of legislative and corporate requirements and conduct our operations accordingly.
